Auto Paint and Design was started in 1995 by Steve Keen & his wife, Theresa,who both grew up in Henderson and have strong ties to the Henderson community. The idea for Auto Paint & Design was born during Steve's time working at a new car dealership for 12 years. Doing small jobs on the side, Steve quickly found out the quality of most repairs in town were substandard. The decision was made to leave the dealership and buy property in Henderson suitable for body and paint repairs.

Our location at 907 North Green Street is a 9800 square foot facility. This has enabled us to make sure no cars are left outside. We have a chassis line frame/unibody straighter for repairs to vehicles Kansas Tack Dual Lazer measuring system to make certain frame/unibody dimensions are to factory specifications. We have recently purchased a second frame/unibody rack capable of pulling extended cab dually and large SUV’s. We have a spray tech down-draft paint booth for OEM and show car finishes. We use a triple vilidor filter system to insure a dust free job, while this step is four times higher than what our competitors use. We are here to satisfy people, not the in and out routine of “big” shops that some may be familiar with. After each car is painted/blended, the car is then sanded with 1500 grit microfine paper and buffed to a high gloss finish.
